A bathroom is a damp and dangerous zone, so the IP rating rules here. In the zone by the shower and bath choose IP65, in the far zone at least IP44. An ordinary dry-room fixture is dangerous here.
A good bathroom has several layers of light: general ceiling (recessed or surface), even light on both sides of the mirror with no shadows on the face, and optionally a soft strip accent. For the mirror, neutral 4000K is best for grooming.
